Kai-Style Roasted Potatoes
Serves 4 to 6.
Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Ka‘iulani Pele’s Fire, or to taste
- 1 Tbsp Ka‘iulani Hawaiian Spice
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with Ka‘iulani Pele’s Fire and Ka‘iulani Hawaiian Spice. Toss again until the potatoes are evenly coated.
Spread potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes. Flip the potatoes, taste and correct seasonings, and continue to cook until the potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes more.
Variations
For a different flavor profile, use 1 to 2 tablespoons of Ka‘iulani Italian Spice and 2 teaspoons of Ka‘iulani Alaea Sea Salt with Garlic & Herbs.
